Because life is a journey

About

Welcome to the site!

What started as the home of my blogs and short stories, charting my recovery from mental illness, has expanded to cover writing on all aspects of my life.

So if you are looking to find out more about depression, anxiety, parenting, twins, videogames, retrogaming and lots of other silliness besides, then you’ve come to the right place.

Calling all parents!

Having previously self-published three blog and short story collections, I am delighted to announce the publication of my latest book – The Cheeky Moon and other stories for children.

Featuring a collection of 13 rhymes and stories about making friends, listening to mummy and learning to share. Plus two stories written especially for twins, inspired by my own little monkeys.

And for older children, three stories that explore how it feels when you don’t fit in, learning to grieve and a story for families to help explain what it means to suffer from depression and mental illness.

As a special introductory offer, you can download a copy of the book via Amazon for Kindle for just 99p by following the link below. A paperback version is also available for £3.50.

Sadly my drawing skills are not on a par with my writing skills and so there are no illustrations in the book. Nonetheless, I hope your little ones enjoy the stories as much as I enjoyed writing them. I would love to hear their feedback.
